DEATH OF Mr. W. C. GARSED.—Our obituary column announced the death yesterday of Mr. William Garsed, for many years Manager of the Bank of Adelaide at Kapunda, and an old colonist of forty-seven years. Mr. Garsed was a native of Elland, near Halifax, in Yorkshire, and arrivedinthecolonyin September, 1849, by the ship John Munn Captain Pearson. Mr. Garsed has been married twice, his first wife having been a sister of Joseph Fisher, while his widow, who survives him, was formerly a Miss Parkin, of North Adelaide.
