PARHAM, Emund Mr. Edmund Parham, a colonist of 64 years, died at Ridleyton (Hindmarsh)y on Wednesday, at the age of 73 years. Mr Parham arrived in this State in the Singapore on November 12, 1839. For a number of years he was farming at Gawler River, and recently he came to Hindmarsh. He was a widower, and left four sons, one daughter, and 22 grandchildren.
Mr. William Peirce, an old colonist, died on Sunday night, at the ripe age of 80 years. Mr. Peirce arrivedintheship Singapore in November, 1839, and had, consequently, been settled here nearly 30 years.
