HARVEY, William jnr. Mr. William Harvey, who died last week at Rhynie at the age of 82, was one of the oldest residents, having resided there for over 60 years. He took up farming, and in later years was overseer of works to the Rhynie District Council. He was a colonist of 71 years, having arrivedin the State by the Duchess of Northumberland in 1847. He was born in Cornwall. He first resided in this State with his parents at Walkerville, and was amongst the first to go to the Bendigo goldfields. He was a foundation member of the Riverton Oddfellows Lodge. A widow, three daughters, five eons, 29 randchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren survive.
